In this lecture ´´Cancer Genetics´´ is explained. Section one is about ´´Introduction´´. At first, explanation of cancer: a genetic disease is given. Educator sheds light on different kinds of cancers such as lymphoma, childhood cancer, melanoma, brain cancer, testicular cancer, uterine cancer and many more. After that discusses multistep nature of cancer i.e. benign tumor and malignant tumor.

Section two is about ‘’Types of Cancer Genes’’. Educator begins by discussing common oncogenes. Then comprehensively explains the mechanism of oncogene activation. Moreover, elucidates the mechanism behind tumor suppressor gene. The slide after that illustrates the mutations in tumor suppression gene.
Familial Cancer Syndromes
Section three is about ‘’Familial Cancer Syndromes’’. Earlier in this section, mechanism of tumor formation is exhibited. After that examples of familial cancer syndromes are reported. At last, educator explains genetic testing in a family with cancer predisposition in detail.
Chromosomal Instability, Viruses and MicroRNAs
Section four is about ‘’Chromosomal Instability, Viruses and MicroRNAs’’. In the beginning, chromosomal instability in solid tumors is pursued. After that information about viruses and cancer is conveyed. Moreover, educator explains the process that how viruses affect genes for cell growth. In the ned, microRNAs and cancer is elaborated.
