Life Cycle of S. cerevisiae
In this lecture ´´Cell-Cycle Control in S. cerevisiae and Mammalian Cells´´ is explained. Section one is about ´´Life Cycle of S. cerevisiae´´. Educator started this section by the explanation of S. cerevisiae life cycle. After that regulator for S phase entry is illustrated. Then S phase promoting factor is explained in detail.


Genetic Studies with S. cerevisiae
Section two is about ‘’Genetic Studies with S. cerevisiae’’. Earlier in this section educator tells about factors controlling DNA replication. Then role of cyclin in controlling cell cycle is reported. Discussion continues that phosphatase promotes exit from mitosis. After that replication at ORC is focused.


Cell-Cycle Control in Mammalian Cells
Section three is about ‘’Cell-Cycle Control in Mammalian Cells’’. Initially, introduction is given. This is followed by Role of Cyclin and CDKs. After that re-entry of G0 mammalian cells to the cell cycle is the subject of discussion. Moreover, G1-S phase transition is pursued. Lastly, CDK inhibitors are reported.


Checkpoints in Cell-Cycle Regulation
Section four is about ‘’checkpoints in cell-cycle regulation’’. In the beginning of this section, significance of checkpoints is focused. Following this, factors arresting cells at checkpoints are discussed.
