Connective Tissue Family
In this lecture ´´Fibroblast and Skeletal Muscle Genesis´´ is explained. Section one is about ‘‘Connective Tissue Family’’. Educator starts this section by explaining structure of connective tissue. After that types of cells are discussed. Then fibroblasts are elaborated. Educator tells that these are the least specialized cells.


Bone and Cartilage
Section two is about ''Bone and Cartilage''. First theme of elucidation in this section is cartilage matrix. Educator tells that chondrocytes divide and secrete more matrix. This is followed by bone matrix. Bone matrix is dense and rigid. Furthermore, educator illustrates the electron micrograph of bone matrix.


Bone Remodelling
Section three is about ''Bone Remodelling''. Initially, information about osteoclasts is given. Osteoclasts are large, multinucleated cells. After that osteoblasts are elaborated. Then discussion continues on regulatory signals.


Genesis and Regeneraton of Skeletal Muscle
Section four is about ''Genesis and Regeneration of Skeletal Muscle''. In the beginning, educator conveys information about types of muscle. Electron micrograph of skeletal muscle fibres is illustrated. This is followed by elaboration of heart muscle cells with the help of electron micrograph. Furthermore, smooth muscle cells are also discussed. Educator also tells that skeletal muscle is 2–3 cm long and 100 μm in diameter.


Skeletal Muscle Fiber Formation
Section five is about ''Skeletal Muscle Fiber Formation''. Initially, educator talks about myoblasts. Then satellite cells are highlighted. Satellite cells are small, flattened, and inactive cells lying in close contact with the mature muscle cell. Concluding comments are given on muscle dystrophy.
