Lecture´s Description

When a ligand binds to the GPCR, conformational change occurs. G-alpha dissociates from receptor and G beta-gamma, and GDP is replaced by GTP. Activated G-alpha can bind to adenylyl cyclase. It can also bind to phospholipase C. It can also activate a variety of other enzymes.
