Metabolism of Magnesium
In this lecture ´´Metabolism of Mg, F, Zn and Mn´´ are explained. Section one is about ´´Metabolism of Magnesium´´. Initially, magnesium: sources are discussed. After that information of magnesium: distribution is given. This is followed by absorption. Moreover, Factors Affecting Absorption are reported. Educator also discusses magnesium: exception. Later on, factors affecting renal excretion are elaborated. Subsequently, functions are elucidated. Alongside, clinical aspect is pursued. Lastly, magnesium deficiency is elaborated.

Metabolism of Fluorine
Section two is about ''Metabolism of Fluorine''. Educator primarily focus on fluorine: sources. Then absorption and excretion come under consideration. Likewise, Role in tooth development and dental health is pursued. Following this, role in bone development is elucidated. Moreover, clinical aspect: fluoride toxicity, fluorosis is the last subject of discussion.

Metabolism of Zinc
Section three is about ''Metabolism of Zinc''. Earlier in this section, zinc: sources are elaborated. Alongside distribution is explained. Next is the comprehensive elucidation of absorption and excretion. In the end, requirements are highlighted.

Functions of Zinc
Section four is about ''Functions of Zinc''. Educator begins by talking about functions. Then moves to the elaboration of clinical aspect: zinc deficiency disease. Likewise, clinical significance is pursued. Afterwards, role of zinc is elaborated by the educator. Furthermore, clinical importance is discussed.

Metabolism of Manganese
Section five is about ''Metabolism of Manganese''. At first, manganese: sources are discussed in this section.  After that manganese: blood level is explained. Then functions are reported. Discussion continues on role in animal reproduction. This is followed by role in bone formation. Later on, functions are elaborated.

Ms. Maham Afridi joined Quaid E Azam University as a research scholar in 2017, Before that she served in Core lab of National University Science and Technology Islamabad. She also served in Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in their department of Immunology, where her major roles were detection of antibodies and other immunology tests, genetic counselling etc.  

Ms. Maham has full command on Genotyping of human genes, Risk assessment of genetic disorders, Diagnostic tests (TyphiDot, ELISA, Allergy tests), HPLC, PCR, Immunohistochemistry, Cell and tissue staining, Bacterial culturing, Cell culturing, DNA extraction, SDS PAGE, Gel Electrophoresis, Spectrophotometry.

Ms. Maham was awarded by Pak China Business forum in Recognition for poster presentation.  Currently she is working as research assistant for HEC project in NUST.
