Image Formed at Retina
In this lecture ´´Optics of Vision´´ is explained. Section one is about ‘‘Image Formed at Retina’’. Earlier in this section refraction is explained. After that lens is discussed. Then focal length is the subject of discussion. Subsequently, image formed on the retina is focused. This is followed by the image formed by convex lens. Finally, image formed by concave lens is covered by the educator.
Section two is about ‘’Accommodation’’. Primary emphasis is on accommodation. In the next slide mechanism of accommodation is illustrated. Then accommodation control is discussed. Moreover, important terms like refractive index and refraction are explained. Afterwards, lens types are considered. At last, presbyopia is elaborated.
Errors of Refraction
Section three is about ‘’Errors of Refraction’’. Educator’s prime focus is errors of refraction. These errors include hyperopia, myopia, astigmatism, and cataract. All of the mentioned errors are discussed in detail.
Section four is about ‘’Visual Acuity’’. Educator tells that visual acuity refers to clarity of vision. Then determination of distance of an object from eye perception is discussed. Afterwards, information is given about parallax method. Educator also notifies about binocular method. In the last slide opthalmoscope is explained.
Section five is about ‘’Intraocular Pressure’’. Educator discusses what is intraocular fluid. In the next slide formation of aqueous humor is pursued. Then functions of aqueous humor are reported. Moving onward, information is given on outflow of aqueous humor. Next focus is the measurement of intraocular pressure. Subsequently, regulation of intraocular pressure is covered. Last part of this section includes glaucoma.
