In this lecture ´´Disorders of Vestibular System´´ are explained. Section one is about ´´Major Peripheral Disorders´´. Educator started this section by explaining Meniere’s disease. After that benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) is discussed. Then vestibular neuronitis is focused. Likewise, labyrinthitis is elaborated. Lastly, vestibular disorders are highlighted.

Other Peripheral Vestibular Disorders
Section two is about ‘’Other Peripheral Vestibular Disorders’’. Initially, vestibulotoxic drugs are discussed. Next focus is on head trauma. Discussion continues on perilymph fistula. Later on, syphilis is pursued. In the end, acoustic neuroma is elaborated.

Central Vestibular Disorders
Section three is about ‘’Central Vestibular Disorders’’. Earlier in this section vertebrobasilar insufficiency is elucidated. This is followed by wallenberg syndrome. After that basilar migraine is discussed. Then cerebellar disease is focused. multiple sclerosis is also explained in this section. Tumours of brainstem and floor of IVth ventricle are elaborated later on. Next subject of discussion is epilepsy. Moreover, cervical vertigo is pursued. Then ocular vertigo is reported. Section four is about ‘’Clinical Tests of Vestibular Function’’. In the beginning, educator focuses spontaneous nystagmus. After that information is given how to conduct fistula test. Following this, Romberg test is discussed. Then gait analysis is explained. Likewise, elucidation of past-pointing and falling is given. Moving onward, Hallpike manoeuvre (positional test) comes under consideration. Lastly, educator reveals information about test of cerebellar dysfunction.

Laboratory Tests of Vestibular Function
Section five is about ‘’Laboratory Tests of Vestibular Function’’. At first, caloric test is explained. Then electronystagmography is pursued. Optokinetic test is also discussed in this section. Afterwards, educator sheds light on rotation test. Likewise, galvanic test is elaborated. In the end, posturography is highlighted.
