Lecture´s Description

The skeletal muscles develop from mesenchyme. The mesenchymal cells differentiate into primordial muscle cells called myoblasts. Myoblast undergo mitosis to form postmitotic myoblasts and form cells called myotube. The myotubes synthesize actin, myosin, and other muscle proteins.
